I have directed large & small camera crews and am well-used to all areas of post-production: editing on AVID & FCP, scripting, dubbing, grading etc., have Edit Produced running multiple edit suites (up to 9 for one production!), and have considerable self-shooting experience - often in foreign locations and in challenging conditions.

I've worked on hidden camera series, chat, reality, & talent shows, Fact Ent & Arts documentaries on such diverse subjects as James Bond, Island Records, Marc Bolan, Barry Sheene, Andrea Bocelli, Dracula & serial killer profilers.Īs well as working with the public, big name presenters I have directly worked with include James Corden, Harry Hill, Jerry Springer, Chris Tarrant, Jonathan Ross, Noel Edmonds, Kirstie Gallagher & Paul O'Grady, and I have worked directly with contributors such as Paul McCartney, PJ Harvey, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Jeff Beck, Paul Weller, Grace Jones, William Shatner, Sadie Frost, Robert Wagner, Daryl Hannah, Roger Moore, Michael Caine, Joan Collins, Yusuf (aka Cat Stevens) to name but a few. I have filmed both in the UK & abroad (Russia, Jamaica, Israel, Rumania, Seychelles, USA etc), from multi-camera studio-based Light Ent studio shows to location shot single-camera shows. I have also developed projects, including my own, through pilots into transmission projects. From large & small budgets with production team sizes to match, I'm used to tight deadlines, and have worked on a diverse range of subjects.
With nearly 30 years P/D experience, I also have a wealth of experience to draw on from understanding the importance of budgets & scheduling (appreciating tight deadlines!), as well as all areas of post-production such as editing (also having worked as Edit Producer in AVID & FCP environments) as well as grading, scripting, dubbing etcįrom major music documentaries to 3D promotions, studio chat shows to James Bond specials - with over 20 years experience in Producing & Directing Factual Entertainment programming, I have a wealth of experience to draw on.

I have worked in a wide variety of genres from Entertainment to Arts, and am experienced in dealing with all sources of archive stills & moving footage including archives, broadcasters, production companies, UGC content worldwide - so I know which sources for each project whether it be current affairs, sports, music, entertainment etc - I am also familiar with all film, and tape & digital formats from 3D video formats to standard & super 8mm film.

I have 2 major strands to my bow, having been successful as a Producer/Director for over 20 years & and an Archive Producer for almost 30 years:Īlthough a Producer/Director since 1990, I have kept up my earlier role as Archive Producer on shows like "Alright on the Night" & "Clive James/Tarrant on TV", not only on archive for my own producing projects like James Bond, Serial Killer Profilers, 50 Years of Island Records, Marc Bolan & Barry Sheene, but also other projects including corporates ("Know Your Times Series" for The Times/Sunday Times, many projects for Atomized Studios), documentaries (BBC doc celebrating 50 years of Glyndebourne, many other music does from Nat King Cole to Paul Weller to A Tribe Called Quest), Factual series ("Mary Berry's Easter Feast" & "Britain's Crime Capitals: Crime Map"), primetime sports docs and list shows such as "Greatest Stand Up Comedians" & "Xmas with the Double Act" for Xmas 2016 which I turned round in 3 weeks.
